Absolutely! We would love to come to your offices /facility to offer a presentation and discuss all the details of your event in person. We’re old fashioned that way.

This answer will vary depending on several factors. One thing that we can tell you is the further away from your facility you have the picnic, the more your guest count will decline. We have found that the highest guest count comes when you have the picnic on your own grounds, and maybe even incorporate a plant tour for the employees’ families. People love to see where their loved ones work, and it helps create a great impression of your company to the families.

A very popular thought is to have your picnic at a water park or theme park. While this may seem like a naturally fun location, in many cases guests won’t attend at a water park because they don’t feel comfortable in a bathing suit in from of co-workers. A theme park has lots of rides to offer, but in most cases will separate your guests and have them blending in with other park guests who are not associated with your company. In this case, you lose the family picnic feel and the camaraderie that goes with it.

If you can’t host it at your facility, we recommend either a local park or fairgrounds. You’ll want to make sure there is plenty of parking, and flat level surface to set up the picnic area. Other things that are a plus are running water, electricity, and shaded eating areas or pavilions. But we can provide ALL of those things if need be!

This will depend on one major question…are you going to offer a meal for your guests? If not, we can help provide snack style concessions and fun foods that are always a hit. But if a meal is not being offered, you’ll want to plan the event outside of traditional lunch or dinner times. If you do plan to offer a meal, we have found a great time in the 10am-2pm or 11am-3pm zone. This allows the event to get started and then begin meal servings, while keeping the event to a nice 4-hour window. Your groups size will also help determine the length. If you have less than 500 people, we recommend a 3-4 hour picnic. This is because a longer picnic will make the groups size seem much less, and nothing adds energy to a crowd more than a crowd. If youhave over 1,000 guests, you might consider stretching it to 5 hours or so. Your typical guest will stay about 2.5 hours, and you’ll typically have people coming and going throughout the picnic.

We have developed a system for creating mouthwatering foods that are fresh and hot, while keeping lines to a minimum. We offer a variety of great tasting foods and sides for guests of all ages and tastes. That being said, we are also happy to provide you with just the entertainment side of the event if you have someone you would like to bring in instead. We do create special package deals with the food, but are happy to be a part of your event either way.
